Found the perfect rain jacket!
I’ve been searching for a real rain jacket for a while (not just water resistant). This is it. I disagree with others that it runs large. I have two other Vuori jackets both in Small and that’s the perfect fit for this. The XS was too tight if you want more than just a tee shirt underneath. So I returned that one. I’m 5’7”+ and it’s the perfect length. Not cropped like other vuori jackets. Draw string around waist is perfect to adjust depending on what you’re wearing that day. The double zip so you can unzip from the bottom to sit comfortably is an added bonus. The zip collar comes up high so you’re still protected even if you don’t want to put the hood on. My fave vuori piece so far!!

I received a large for Christmas and went back to the store in Walnut Creek and the sales ladies could not be more helpful. They were excellent and walked me through ordering a size small. Less than a week later, it was delivered to my house and I love it.

Perfect
I was worried about this being massive based off reviews but it fits well on me (purchased xs / 5’1 / 110). It’s definitely an oversized fit which seems appropriate for a rain jacket. The draw string helps give it some shape. Beige color is lovely and it has lots of functional pockets. It’s more of a rain shell — so not lined but the fit allows plenty of space to layer or wear a thicker sweater or top. Great for PNW spring or fall.

Cute rain jacket but too big for me
Wanted to get a 2nd rain jacket for myself (I'm about 5'3"-4") and also share it with my mom (no taller than 5'0"). First rain jacket was also from Vuori, the Palisades, and the small was a good fit - roomy enough so I could wear layers underneath but not too small where I couldn't. Even though I got Pfeiffer in the small, it runs larger and I probably could've gone with the XS. Instead, it's now mostly my mom's since it fits her better in terms of width, but since she's shorter than me it's more of a long coat style on her which also looks good.

This is my first ever rain jacket so I don't have others to compare to but I've always wanted one and thought it time to invest in one. FIT - I'm 5'2" and about 130#. I can typically wear size small, sometimes medium, and sometimes XS depending on the brand. The size predictor recommended a size M for me but based on other Vuori jackets I've tried on I ordered both the M and the S to be sure. I didn't even take the M out of it's bag because the S was still oversized for me. The sleeves ran past my knuckles and I could wrap the jacket with about 3" of overlap around the middle. The shoulders are also loose. MATERIAL - The fact that this is waterproof, I guess I'm not surprised that the material is a bit stiff and starchy giving. And because the fabric is not forgiving, the oversizing felt safe so I could layer underneath and still move my arms freely. Hopefully over time the material will soften with wear. IN THE END I did keep it. It looks like an oversized jacket but I think the nature of this being for rain, it should be oversized to accommodate layering and freedom of movement especially in the shoulders. I just folded the sleeves up one cuff length. I liked the color, the design is simple but still refined, and the ability to cinch the waist for a more form fit.
